GBGH updates visitor information in wake of COVID-19

Georgian Bay General Hospital sent MidlandToday.ca the followlng notice in regards to vistor restrctions during the COVID-19 pandemic: 

VISITOR RESTRICTIONS 

Visiting hours are restricted between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Visitors are limited to one per patient. 

Exceptions will be based on clinical judgement and compassionate grounds including patients in palliative care, OBS, and our Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Any admitted patient with a confirmed case of COVID-19 will not be permitted visitors.  

All patients and visitors will be screened before entering the hospital.

Patient and family common rooms will be restricted.
