This week we'd like to shine the spotlight on a friend who came a long way to get into our care.

Zorro is just about two and a half years old and came all the way from Antigua where he is known as a "potcake" breed. When he first arrived, he was nervous and adjusting to the new environment and climate but he's been showing us more and more of his personality over the last week and he's a very lovely boy.

Zorro will thrive in a quiet home ready to love him as he is very affectionate and finds comfort in people. He did not like his bed being elevated and instead made a nest of blankets for himself on the floor so we accommodated him and gave him a flat bed which he now makes himself at home in, stretching his legs out and laying on his back.

As he is one of our transfer dogs his adoption fee will be $685 covering his neuter, deworming, core vaccines, heartworm prevention medication, flea treatments, microchip and rabies vaccine. If you're looking for a lovable boy, you can't find one much better than Zorro!

For more information on how to adopt Zorro, please contact the Midland Centre at [email protected] or by calling 705-534-4459
