MidlandToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Midland and District Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

This week, we’re hoping to find a home for a lovely rabbit we have in our care named Thumper.

While his name might not be the most original, he is a unique bunny who loves his veggies and to stretch himself out for naps. Though he came into our care untrained, he has quickly gotten the hang of litter boxes and almost exclusively goes to the bathroom within the two we provide for him each day.

He likes to cuddle occasionally but is more interested in sitting on his own while in your company. His absolute favourite snack is lettuce, which we scatter around the floor for him as a source of enrichment, and he never misses a piece.

He’s a delightful Lionhead rabbit who is neutered and waiting to hop out of here and into his forever home.

Our adoption fee for rabbits is $130, so if you’re interested, please give us a call at 705-534-4459 or send us an email at [email protected].
