This week we'd like to try to find a home for a lovely boy named Oliver. He came into our care as a nervous stray so we know very little about his background, however while he's been in the shelter, we have seen him to be shy but affectionate.

It's very possible outside of the shelter environment he could be more confident and outgoing, but he also could be a shy boy by nature. Because of this, we think he would probably do best in a calm home.

The first couple days at the shelter, Oliver rarely left his bed, but he now comes out to solicit attention although he only wants petting at his pace.

If he feels unsure, he likes to retreat to his bed where he can get head scratches. We've seen him be a really loving boy and he is absolutely gorgeous.

We're certain that whoever the lucky person to bring Oliver home is will not regret it. He's such a sweet and gentle boy.
