Adopt Me: Coco is a special girl looking for the right home (adopted)

She has been good with other dogs that she's been introduced to, but would prefer a home without cats

MidlandToday, in partnership with the SPCA Midland Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Coco

We have a very special pet this week. This is the beautiful Coco. She came to us through our Animal North program and is from a remote community where there is little access to veterinary care.

She’s a sweet, loving one-year-old Siberian Husky and Terrier mix and she’s very playful and sweet.

Coco needs a very special home as she has been diagnosed with kidney disease. What this means for her and her new family is that she may not live as long as she normally would, and will need regular monitoring of her kidney function, as well as a special diet for her whole life.

She has been good with other dogs that we have introduced her to, but may have a high prey drive (so perhaps not ideal with cats).

We are urging anyone who thinks they can give this loving, sweet girl the home that she deserves to please contact the Midland centre at [email protected] and we can send you a full information package on this angel.
