Adopt Me: Precious Polyanna (adopted)

She is polydactyl on all paws, so she has some extra toes!

MidlandToday, in partnership with the SPCA Midland Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Meet two-year-old Polyanna. This sweet girl is polydactyl on all paws, which means she has extra toes!

She is very snuggly, and can’t wait to find her new furrever home.

Some fun facts about polys are that they are thought to be good luck just like black cats are so this girl is a double whammy. They tend to have better balance and hunting availability as their feet are larger.

Ernest Hemmingway loved polycactyls so much that after his death, his Florida home was turned into a museum which houses around 50 cats, many of which are descendants of his own kitties and about half are polys!
