Students in Simcoe North have opted to give MPP Jill Dunlop a second term — barely.
Student Vote Ontario, a program of CIVIX, sees elementary and secondary school students cast ballots for candidates in their schools’ electoral districts.
The results for Simcoe North are as follows:
- Jill Dunlop (PC): 531 (23.63 per cent)
- Krystal Brooks (Green): 522 (23.23 per cent)
- Elizabeth Van Houtte (NDP): 472 (21.01 per cent)
- Aaron Cayden Hiltz (Liberal): 277 (12.33 per cent)
- Mark Douris (New Blue): 205 (9.12 per cent)
- Aaron MacDonald (Ontario Party): 151 (6.72 per cent)
- William Joslin (Libertarian): 89 (3.96 per cent)
