Passed away on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario at the age of 92. Loving husband of Amina Ayad-Shehata and survived by his younger brother, Rawhey Shehata. Abbas was a beloved father of two sons, Amgad and his wife Gail, Akram and his wife Nancy. He will be missed by his grandchildren Maya, Cyrus, Olivia, and Aiden as well as extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home 330 Midland Ave, Midland, Ontario 705-526-5449 on Saturday November 18, 2023 at 11:30 am, reception to follow. Burial at Lakeview Cemetery Midland, Ontario at 1:30pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Georgian Bay General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
