Passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Village on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the age of 93.
Loving husband of the late Celestine and the late Gloria. Beloved father to Cathy (Peter) Thurston, Joe (Jennifer), Robert, Paul and John (Ruth). Cherished grandpa of Adam (Corey), Karen, Jason, Jeffery (Emily), Sean (Shayla), Spencer, Wilfred, Taylor (Leah), Andrew, Michael and great grandpa of Logan, Adelyn, Ethan and Aubrey. Step father to Grant (Cheryl) Waddell and Ross (Buffy) Waddell, Step Grandfather to Laura, Jennifer and Max. Wilfred is predeceased by his parents Harry & Hilda and also by his brother Raymond.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland, Ontario on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2 o’clock. If desired memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
