Lee, age 79, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Georgian Bay General Hospital.
Lee was the loving husband of the late Valerie Hanson, the beloved father of Tracey (Dave), the cherished grandfather of Jaclyn (Eddy), Marcus (Shawna Lee), and Greg (Eryn), and great-grandfather of Trinity, Kimberly, Violet, Caysen, and Marlee. He is also survived by sisters Fran and Rita, nieces Victoria and Kim, and dear friends Steve, Jesse and his son Ryder. Lee is predeceased by his parents Mother and Fred Hanson, and siblings Pat, Barb, Roy, Jeanie, and Shirley.
His cremated remains will be laid to rest along with Valerie and their adored dog, Skooter, at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa this spring. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1pm – 4pm at Nicholls Funeral Home Reception Centre “Heritage House”, 330 Midland Ave, Midland, Ontario 705-998-1237. In Lee’s memory, memorial donations can be made to We Are The Villagers. Any donations made in his name would be greatly appreciated by the family.
