This week, we’re going to show off Scout.

She came into our care as a stray and we estimate she is about four years old. She was, like many of our cats, initially reserved and timid. With time, she started looking forward to receiving pets and, before long, was relishing her time out to explore her room. Though she can still get a little overwhelmed and retreat, she is now generally a social cat looking for someone to give her a loving home.

She seems curious about other cats and likely could get along with another in the home with the proper introduction. The same goes for small children as long as they can respect her need for space if she starts to feel overwhelmed. She loves playing with wand toys and she gets along best with people one on one, when she can let her nervousness go and truly be her loving, happy self.
