Dear Friend,

I have arrived here safe on Saturday night.

I am going for to stay here and work for F.C. Preston in the store. This is a fine country up here and we have no more snow than what their (sic) is in Midland.

I am staying with Joe and he wants for to be remembered to you. He says the only thing that is wrong up here their is not enough Girls.
