Police are looking for a suspect after a dog was shot Tuesday morning in Port McNicoll.
Shortly after 10 a.m., Southern Georgian Bay OPP officers responded to the report of a person shooting at a dog on Patterson Boulevard. The dog received a gunshot wound, police said in a news release.
When police arrived, the suspect had driven away from the area.
Police believe it was an “isolated incident” and they are asking anyone with information, including video footage, to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
