SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY DETACHMENT OF THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE

Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with other OPP specialty units attended a Church Street, Penetanguishene residence for a male in crisis at approximately 10:30 p.m. June 10, 2022.
At approximately 5:45 a.m. June 11, 2022 OPP officers were able to successfully conclude this investigation by taking the individual into custody without injury and transported to hospital for further treatment.
Traffic on Church Street in the area of O'Reilly, Cambridge and Drummond Streets was detoured during the investigation and investigators wish to thank the community for their patience.
