Kingston man facing charges after disturbance call in Tay Township

He now remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing, police say

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 37-year-old man from Kingston after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a Seventh Avenue residence in Tay Township.

Paul McClung is now facing the following charges: 

  • Failing to comply with undertaking, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Possession of a schedule I substance - methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

McClung remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing. He will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date.
