A Midland man is facing an impaired driving charge after the vehicle he was driving ended up in a ditch in Oro-Medonte.
Orillia OPP responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 12 shortly after 8:30 p.m. April 29 and found a pickup truck that had been towing a trailer was in the ditch.
After speaking with the occupant, an impaired driving investigation began, police stated in a news release.
The driver was arrested and taken to the Orillia OPP detachment for further investigation.
Bradley Desjardins, 35, has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs). He was released on an undertaking and is set to appear in Orillia court June 14.
