Cyclist injured in hit and run in Midland

A 48-year-old cyclist is injured after being struck in a fail-to-remain collision.

Members of the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the OPP are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a white sedan that failed to remain after striking a cyclist at around 7 p.m. on Sept. 18. The collision occurred on Yonge Street between Midland Avenue and Queen Street in the Town of Midland. County of Simcoe Paramedic Services tended to the cyclist’s minor injuries and transported him to a local hospital for further treatment.

Anyone having knowledge of this suspect vehicle and/or occupants or possibly dash cam/residential video of this crime is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, [email protected] or by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
