West Toronto shooting leaves one person dead, two with serious injuries

TORONTO — One person has died and two are being treated in a Toronto hospital after a shooting in Etobicoke Monday night. 

Police say they were called for a shooting in the Long Branch area near Lakeshore Boulevard West and Thirtieth Street.

They say two men and one woman were found suffering of gunshot injuries and were taken to a hospital. 

One of the victims was pronounced dead in the hospital. 

Investigators say they found bullet casings in the area. 

Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact them.
