STEVENS, Muriel Margaret

May 1, 1941- July 23, 2022

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland. Survived by her beloved husband Donald Stevens. Dear mother of Christine Thomson (Scott), Heather Gonneau (Colin) and Charles Stevens (Meghan). Loved grandmother of Emma Thomson (Jeff), Mac Thomson, Darcy Gonneau (Amanda), Tessa and Spencer Stevens. Predeceased by her brother Jim Thornton. Sister-in-law of Barbara McKenney and Lois Thornton. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her dear friend and cousin Aline Wilbur and her husband Clarke. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital in 2North and 2East for their compassion and care. Muriel has requested to be cremated and a family celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Muriel be made to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, Collingwood and may be made through the Coldwater Funeral Home, (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485).
