It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Elva St. Amant at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in her 81st year. Predeceased by husband Philip St. Amant and her son, Mark St. Amant. Elva is survived by her daughter Laura St. Amant (Roger) and her son Michael St. Amant (Laura). Grandmother to Greg (Jamie), Chris, Darren (Shannon), Jessica (Jacob), Eric and Ryan. Great grandmother to Abel, Kaylee, Elva, Veda, Wendel and Aiden. Sister to Doris, Annette and Laura. Elva was predeceased by 7 siblings. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Elva was a strong, independent woman who was determined to maintain her independence and fought to overcome many ailments. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
