January 23, 1945 ~ January 16, 2021 (age 75)
It is with broken hearts to announce the passing of Andrew (Andy) Bernard Robitaille. On Saturday January 16, 2021 in his 75th year, Andy lost his courageous battle with cancer and passed peacefully at home with family by his side.
Andy was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 56 years, Barbara (Nee Murphy). Cherished father to Ray (Norma), Kathy (Terry), Greg (Bev) and late son Venard (2016) (Laura). Proud Papa to Scottie (Megan), Rebecca (Brandon), Justin (Marina), Ashley (Dusty), Ryan, Becca (Blake), Allison (Mike) and Jordan. Great papa to Ethan, Hunter, Maddison, Ryder, Arielle, Emily, George, Noah and the late Jack (2018). Andy was predeceased by his parents; Arsene & Jeanne (nee Marion) and siblings Avela and Rosaire.
Andy was known as an honest, loving, caring and gentle man and will be fondly remembered and missed by all of his extended family and friends.
The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to their friends, Father Daniel and all of the wonderful doctors and nurses for their care and support shown to Andy. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a gathering to celebrate Andy’s life will be held and announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy a donation in Andy’s name can be made to Georgian Bay General Hospital. Love you all
