It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Paul Emile Ribout on January 20,
2023, at the age of 72, in hospital surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lynn of 47 years, children: Michelle, Michael (Lauren), and Heather; grandchildren: Walter and Alice; brothers, Joffre and Roly. Predeceased by siblings Bob, Jeanne, and Peter.
A native of Mattawa ON, he had a love of baking tourtières and butter tarts for family and friends, and a passion for golf, travel, photography, music, skiing, and of course the Habs. Paul was heavily involved in the community through the Y’s guys club, as a Midland Golf and Country Club member, and had a 25-year career with Scotiabank. He always said his family was his greatest accomplishment in life and he loved supporting his children in their various local sports and activities. He was a true family man and will be missed by all.
A visitation will be held at Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Friday, February 10th from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday, February, 11th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
