With heavy hearts, his family announces David’s passing on January 16th, at Hospice Huronia. David will be greatly missed by his wife Brenda of 45 years. His daughters, Laura (Philippe) Croteau of Lafontaine, and Kimberly (Rick) Uitto of Timmins, were the joy of his life. Proudly a Super-Papi to Emélie and Èlianne. He will be missed by his brother Tim (Stephanie), sisters Diane and Susan (Danny), and stepmother Arlene. Predeceased by his parents, Marion and Bram Ogden, and his beloved father-in-law, Stephen Seed. David was blessed to have many wonderful nieces and nephews, all of whom reached out in the last weeks to express their love. Adding to his life was his mother-in-law Phyllis, who made sure he had a steady supply of chocolates, and his sister-in-law Marlene, who has always taken his side. David will be missed by his boy Beau, who will now always have the front seat. David’s work was important to him. He was well known in the HVAC industry, and then went to work at York University. David thought York University was the best job he ever had. He made so many great friends, but especially: Larry and Carrie Puglese, Cathy and Kirk Webster, all of his poker buddies, and his neighbors from both Barrie and Penetanguishene. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
