Passed away suddenly at the young age of 33 on January 20th at his mothers home. Victor was the loving husband to Makayla Monague, and was soon to become a loving father to Baby Boy Monague in March. Victor is the son of Irene and the late James Monague and son in law to Deborah Laramey. A loving brother to Owen and his wife Maggie, Rhonda Copegog, Zachary and his partner Alyssa, Kash Monague and brother in law to Linda Hoksbergen, Colton Laramey, and Chase Laramey. Victor was a loving Uncle and Godfather to many nieces and nephews and will be lovingly remembered by Mason, Jacey, Russell, Lorelai, Josephine and Tatiana and Zane Hoksbergen. Victor will be lovingly remembered by all of his Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins. Victor shared his positive energy and big heart with so many people and shared so many special bonds.
Victor will be remembered as a community protector through his roles as a Firefighter and Emergency First Responder for Beausoleil Fire & Emergency Services for the past 10 years. Victor will also be missed dearly by the many employees and customers that Vic valued as an entrepreneur and business owner of Vic’s Variety.
The family is requesting for any donations to be made in his memory to Baby Boy Monague. Monetary cards will be accepted or email money transfer to [email protected].
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 25th at 1:00 p.m. until Friday, January 27th at the Christian Island Recreation Centre. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 27th at 11:00 a.m. interment to follow at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
