Passed away after a long battle with cancer on February 10th, 2020.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary of 22 years. Loving cherished by his daughters Theresa, Katie, Brooke and Laura. Cherished Papa to Conan Sean. Vance is predeceased by his parents Rod Sr. and Evelyn. Loving twin and other half to Derek (Mallory.) Loving brother to Angie (Tim) and Rambo (Tricia). Loving brother-in-law to Jerry (Rachel), Michael, Leigh-ann (Conley). Cherished Son-in-law to Becky and Michael (predeceased.) Loving uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his nephew Michael.
He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends, especially his long-time friend Joe whom Vance considered a brother.
The family will receive guests at the family home on Thursday, February 13th, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Community Rec Center on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Christian Island United Cemetery.
If so desired memorial donations in Vance’s honour may be made by cheque to the Niijii Fund.
