Barbara Jean Mitchell passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in her 94th year. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Mitchell. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Joan Hamilton (David), her son Glenn Mitchell (Linda) and daughter Mary Mitchell. Cherished grandmother to Megan, Michael, Scott, Valerie, Blake, and Andrea. Great-grandmother to Laila, Ella, Harrison, Alice and Calvin. Barbara was predeceased by her brothers Russell and James. Many thanks to the incredible staff at GBGH for the kindness, care and support that was provided for Barbara in her final days. Memorial donations to Hospice Huronia in Barbara’s memory are greatly appreciated. A private family gathering will occur at a later date.
