With profound sadness we announce the passing of Debra Martin (nee Thompson) on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 64. Beloved wife of 44 years to Peter Martin. Loving mother to Michael Martin (Jessica Brunetti) and Lacey Martin (Eric Harris). Loving daughter to Gloria Thompson and late Garnet Thompson. Cherished Grandma to Hudson, Kaleb, Douglas, Colton, Connor and Sophia. Debra will be greatly missed by her sister Judy Lamont, brother-in-law Steven Lamont, nephews Steven and Christopher. Debra will be fondly remembered by the whole Martin family, her extended family, her Giant Tiger family as well as close friends and neighbors.
Due to current restrictions a graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in the Spring as well as Celebration of Life. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Bayshore Health Care for all their support and wonderful care. If desired, memorial donations can be sent to the Midland District Railroad Club at Huronia Airport or Midland OSPCA.
