March 15, 1932 ~ August 30, 2021 (age 89)
Alexander Edward Lomas, son of Alton Inkerman Lomas and Mary Anderson Lomas, born in Halifax, NS., formerly of Midland and Toronto passed away in Barrie, ON., August 30 2021 at the age of 89, of cancer and age related illness.
Predeceased by his infant son David, wife Marilyn Gilvear, and his wife Sally Roper,
Alex is survived by daughter Heather Croft and Duncan of Grand Bend Ontario, Peter Lomas and Nannette of Burlington and Murray Lomas of Burlington, 2 step daughters; Kirsten Richter (Brian) of Calgary and Heidi Girvan (Mark) of Toronto and 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
At Alex’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place. Donations to the Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
