It is with great sadness that the family of Omer Lespérance announce his passing on Thursday July 14, 2022, in his 95th year.
Beloved husband of the late Stella Lespérance (nee Grozelle). Loving father of Shirley Vaillancourt (Jim), Sharon Cook, (Rick - deceased), and Diane Lespérance (Peter Wu). Special Pépère of Angèle (James), Michelle, Danielle, Chantèle (Mike), Marc, and Natalie (Victorio). Predeceased by granddaughter Céline and grandson Luc. Dear Grand-Pépère of Alec and Anne. He leaves behind his sister Clothilde Mailloux and brother Philip Lespérance (Ella-May). He is predeceased by his sisters Cécile Marion, Claudia Lafrenière, Rosina Grozelle and his brothers Hilaire, Armand, Alcime, Edmond (survived by Armande) and Raymond Bellaire.
He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church on Saturday July 23rd at 1 p.m. Interment to follow, St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and will be accepted by the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.
