Passed away September 28, 2022, at home after years of a courageous battle with varied illnesses at the age of 86. Beloved partner of Inge Zimmermann of 28 years, loving father to Ruby (Phil), Walter Jr. (Elena), Kim (Rob) and cherished Opa to Tori and Tristan. Walter will be deeply missed by his family, extended family, and friends.
He loved music, played his keyboards, was a great baker, a "Jack of all trades", loved to help friends and neighbours and had a deep love and affection for dogs. Cremation was entrusted to LeClair Cremation Centre. Celebration of Life will be at a later date and announced after a bench and a tree are placed at Little Lake Park in his memory. In lieu of flowers donations to OSPCA Midland would be appreciated.
