In loving memory of Norma, who passed away at the call of God, in her home with her son David in Carp, a little town inside the city of Ottawa, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Jivcoff. Mother of David, Thomas (Carol) and John (deceased), and Jerome who died as an infant. Grandmother to Thomas and John's children. Dear sister of Marie Johnson (Bill), John Marchand (Delcy), Denise Moreau (Ernest), and sister in-law, Rolene (Clarence). Predeceased by her parents Robertine Proulx and Celestin Marchand, sisters Agnes Marchand, Rita MacIntyre, Blanche Marchand and brothers, Brother Charles Roland, Paul, Clarence, and Jerome Marchand. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Norma has enjoyed a full life with priority dedication to her husband, family and church.

Her faith in God, his word, and his church was so unshakable. She grew up and was married in St Ann's Church, and lived most of her life attending St. Margaret's Church, and was now attending St Michael's Church in Fitzroy Harbour. She was so committed to her church and childhood friends. They persist to this day. Norma will be remembered for the love, generosity and compassion she shared without waver. She is already missed.

Resting at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 8:30-9:45 a.m. with Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Penetang at 10:00a.m. Burial will be held in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to St Ann's Church in Penetanguishene or St Margaret's Church in Midland.
