18-Sep-1919 - 22-Jan-2021

Passed away suddenly at Roberta Place, Barrie Ontario, on January 22, 2021 at the age of 101.

Helen was born September 18, 1919 in Port McNicoll Ontario, to Katherine and William Sutter. She married her love, Charles (Chop) Henry, in mid 1940, who preceded her in death in 1985. Together they built their life in Midland, Ontario. Helen enjoyed sewing, knitting, and quilted constantly. Her hands were rarely still. She worked most of her young adult life at Fabulous Formals, where her passion for sewing and clothes could be combined. Later, taking on the role of loving mother to David (Sheila), Marilyn (Mike) and Jon (Lenore). Cherished grandmother to Nova (Jeremy), Susie (Nathan), Sandra (Jamie), Kim (Devin), Peter (Lisa), and Amanda. And great grandmother to Josh, Issac Anita, Kianna, Justin, Cristian, Rebecca, Brent, Grace, Oliver and Semona.

Helen loved going to the bingo, watching Bob Barker on The Price is Right, and spending time outdoors tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a top bowler as a member of the local bowling league, rarely missed an episode of Young & the Restless, was strong-willed, beautiful, and would definitely show you her fiery side if you were caught breaking the lilac branches or de-flowering her snowball tree. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Helen was greatly loved and we will miss her every day. ❤️
