Emery, Margaret Anne "Peggy" (nee Heard)
Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Care Centre in Newmarket on Thursday February 25, 2021 at the age of 73. Known to her family as "Peggy", Margaret was born in Toronto in 1948 to Ethel and William Heard. She studied nursing at Toronto Western Hospital and moved to Penetanguishene shortly after graduation, and lived and worked in the area for her entire career. She achieved a Master's Degree while working at the Mental Health Centre, Penetanguishene. Peggy is survived by her beloved son Jason Emery, adored grandson Jordan Emery and loving siblings David Heard, Michelle Wales and Lynn McMaster. She is predeceased by her parents and youngest sibling Patricia Cutler and her former husband Patrick Emery. Peggy will be sadly missed by her many friends, extended family and the ladies from her bridge group. The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion shown by doctors and staff at Southlake. Donations can be made in her name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
