John passed away at Villa Care in Midland, Ont on January 12, 2021. Born June 22, 1937 in London England. John emigrated to Montreal, Canada when he was 19. He moved to Toronto, Ont and spent his career in insurance. Within his career John was promoted to Vice President of Continental Insurance and Eaton Bay Insurance. In 1981, he started his own firm Ellis & Co Insurance Adjusters. He is survived by his wife Colleen (nee Cillis-Scott), sons Michael (Dominique), Andrew (Shanna) and daughter Danielle(Chris). John was a loving and trusting husband and father who lived his life with integrity, intelligence and strength of character. We will celebrate John's life as a family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
