It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Merilyn Victoria Theresa Evans Dell in her 75th year. We lost her suddenly on April 8th, 2021 at Ross Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband Edwin Dell, daughter, Victoria Dell (Adam), and sister, Eleanor Reid (Tom, predeceased). She is predeceased by brothers Fred and Melbourne. Merilyn was a resident of the Kawartha Lakes area; where her and Ed held a flourishing Wedding/Event Business until recently. Merilyn and Ed were avid golfers, and members of Dunsford Golf Club. They were members of the Lakeshore Club in Lake Wales Florida where they made many friends and memories. Still, the most favourite of all pastimes was boating; and camping on the boat named “Utopia” as well. Merilyn and Ed were previously residents of Durham Region; and still have family and roots in Midland/Penetanguishene area. Merilyn had many interests, and was very young at heart. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she held numerous businesses, was a caregiver and oversaw many projects. Her most important role was as a Mom and wife, sister and daughter. She will be dearly missed by family, and many friends. A celebration of life will be planned when friends and family can comfortably grieve together.
