It is with a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Joan Marie Beattie in her 89th year, following a short battle with cancer. Loving wife to the late John Douglas Beattie. Mother to Debbie Iveson, Daniel (Wendy) Beattie And Darlene (Tom) Weale. Nannie to Lindsay MacDonald (Ryan Boles), Daniel Beattie, Sean (Alexandra) Beattie and Amanda Beattie. “GG” to Andie, Vaughn, Rory, Brysen, Sofia and Liam. Sister to Ronald Brethour (deceased), Barbara Borg, Margaret (Peggy) Naughton. Predeceased by her parents Margaret (Dolly) Brethour and Freeman Brethour.
At Joan’s request, cremation has taken place with no service to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Nicholls Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the Hospital for Sick Kids. Love you forever and miss you tons!
