Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Morris Asselin. Loving mother of Randy (Debbie), Valerie (Andre), Gary (Darleen), Shane (Julie). Cherished Grandmother of Amanda (Tom), Mac, Michael (Desiree), Jessie, Emily, Madeleine, Tess, Ireland, Leah, Alexis, Jake and Autumn. “Grandma GG” to Oriah. Jean Armata (Steve), the late Barb Silvey (John), the late Eddie Desroches (Anne), the late Andy Desroches (survived by Anne), the late Dave Desroches (survived by Irene). Yvette will be fondly remembered by her sisters; Lois Dunn (the late Bruce), Cecile Lesperance (Edgar) and Doria Peden (Jim). A memorial mass will be
celebrated at St Margaret’s Church, Midland, ON on Friday, September 30th at 2:30 pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Penetang Legion, 2 Poynt Street, Penetanguishene from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
