Simcoe County Rovers FC has entered into a strategic partnership with Rogers TV to produce Rovers FC TV, a biweekly half-hour show bringing fans highlights, player and coach interviews and game analysis of both the men’s and women’s first teams participating in League1 Ontario.

Rogers TV will also provide coverage of Simcoe County Rovers regular-season games. Rovers FC TV will air on five Rogers TV community channels in Simcoe County starting April 7, and stream online at rogerstv.com/Barrie.

The show will air starting April 7 and be accessible on www.rogerstv.com/Barrie. Collaboration on this exciting project originated from a deep commitment by Rogers to promote the recently formed team proudly representing the people of Barrie and Simcoe County, and the desire by Simcoe County Rovers FC to connect and build relationships with supporters and fans of the beautiful game.

“The Simcoe County Rovers FC are thrilled to partner with Rogers TV on this exciting project,” said David Zbar, chief marketing officer of Simcoe County Rovers FC. “We look forward to working together to produce entertaining and engaging content over the course of the season to share with our fans and further our commitment to grow the game of soccer in Barrie and Simcoe County.”

“We are excited to partner with the Simcoe County Rovers FC in developing programming for the community channel,” said Kevin Kelly, station manager, Rogers TV Simcoe County.

“We believe our coverage of regular-season games and the addition of Rovers FC TV on the Simcoe County Rogers TV channels will both educate viewers and promote the great soccer being played in this community, but also give greater access to this entertaining product.”
