The Bulls are back!

A local rugby fraternity is returning this month in the form of a reunion and a 175-book entitled The Rugby Brotherhood: Mud, Blood and Beer.

The pages are filled with stories, pictures and news clippings of the adventures of the club through the 1970s and ’80s, and its evolution into the Huronia Hash House Harriers.

Compiled by Ron Hunt and Bill Chapman, The Rugby Brotherhood is a not-for-profit record of the club's history. To secure an advanced copy at $25, call Hunt at (705) 526-2842.

There will be an official book launch and Midland Bulls RFC reunion at the pavilion at Little Lake Park in Midland on Saturday, August 27.

Books will be on sale from 1 to 3 p.m. with the reunion beginning at the same time and continuing “until everyone goes home.”

All former Bulls along with their families and friends and those interested in the sport and its local history are invited to attend. Bring a cooler and a lawn chair.
