On June 12, more personal service businesses were able to re-open in most regions of Ontario including hair and beauty salons, which were all shutdown in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like many other Ontarians, Elma Daoust was excited to ditch her overgrown hairdo after hearing the news that her hairstylist was back in business. 

But Daoust's fresh new haircut wasn't the only change.
