The manager of the Ontario SPCA Midland and District Animal Centre and her twin sister are lacing up and hitting the road on Sept. 4 for a 44 km relay-style run to change the lives of animals in need through the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society’s Sweat for Pets virtual fundraising campaign.

Caytlynn Croisier and her sister Brittany – registered as the Twin Terriers – will begin their run at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4 from the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre and make their way to the Ontario SPCA Midland and District Animal Centre. The pair will cover 44 km, with the distance split in intervals between them.

Sweat for Pets is a province-wide virtual fundraiser for the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society. Your contribution can be as tough as running a marathon, or as easy as making an online donation at sweatforpets.ca

“Our goal is to raise awareness about Sweat for Pets and encourage people to get involved to change the lives of animals in need,” says Caytlynn Croisier, manager, Ontario SPCA Midland and District Animal Centre. “Make a donation at sweatforpets.ca, or create your own unique challenge. While you’re sweating, encourage your family, friends and co-workers to pledge their support.”

“Sweat for Pets is a critical fundraiser for the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society and we need the public’s support to continue to help vulnerable animals,” says Carol Beard, manager of the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre. “Please consider making a donation to change the life of an animal in Simcoe County.”
