The Township of Tiny is offering three technology workshops for adults 55+ in cooperation with Gateway Centre for Learning. The workshops cover a variety of topics and individuals can participate in-person at the Wyebridge Community Centre.

Technology Workshop Descriptions

1. The Internet, Search Engines and Apps

Learn how the Internet functions and what apps are all about. Explore how to use these resources to make your life easier, more interesting and efficient.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

2. Internet Safety – Privacy and Security

Learn how to protect yourself online, how to keep your passwords secure and how to shop and bank online safely.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

3. Understanding Phone Plans (iPad)

Discover how phone plans work and how to create an address book. Then you can talk or text with friends and family and share pictures with them.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
