The Coldwater Lions Club invites the community to enjoy a free skate, followed by a Santa Claus parade, Dec. 3 in the Severn Township village.
The free skate will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Coldwater and District Community Centre on Michael Anne Drive.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., starting on Gray Street before turning onto Main Street and ending at the fairgrounds. Santa will turn off of Main Street and go to the Coldwater Heritage Mill.
After the parade, community members can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at the mill.
According to the Lions club, the best spot for viewing the parade is on Gray Street between John and River streets.
