TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE

The Town of Penetanguishene requests the cooperation of all drivers of motor vehicles on all highways and municipal parking lots within the town as required by By-law No.2012-23 as amended.
From Nov. 1, 2020 until April 1, 2021, between the hours of 1 and 7 a.m., no person shall:
- Park a vehicle on any highway as defined by By-law, including the shoulder
- Park a vehicle within any municipal parking lot.
Notwithstanding any other provisions of this by-law which permits the parking of vehicles on highways, no person shall park or stand a vehicle on a highway in such a manner as to interfere with the cleaning of snow from the highway.
Any vehicle found in contravention of the above noted restrictions may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense and enforced in the manner provided by the Repair and Storage Liens Act.
