Update:
Ontario Premier Doug Ford says the province is launching an 'all-out plan' to fight COVID-19 in long term care homes, which will include increased screening measures, enhanced protocols for infection control and testing of asymptomatic residents and staff.
Ford says that 'COVID-19 swat teams' from hospitals and health units will also be deployed to long term care facilities in order to manage outbreaks.
Long term care minister Merrilee Fullerton says the province is currently using federal and provinicial job portals to identify workers for 190 long term care homes currently experiencing worker shortages.
Approximately 114 COVID-19 outbreaks have been reported in Ontario long term care homes to date.

Premier Doug Ford holds a press conference today at 1 p.m. from Queen's Park in Toronto.
He will be joined by Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, and Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, Minister of Long-Term Care, to make an announcement.
The press conference will be streamed live on Ford's YouTube channel, and Village Media will carry the livestream feed.
