A Smart and Caring Grant supported by the Helen Dubeau Family Fund and Leah P. Gignac Endowment Fund at HCF will assist with the wig bank program at the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre. "It is important for cancer patients to receive a quality wig. We strongly believe based on our interactions with local patients, who have accessed this service, it offers them something positive and rejuvenating during their cancer treatment. The wigs are part of who they are as they move through treatment" according to centre executive director Eric Walter, pictured here with HCF executive director Scott Warnock.
