Tiny Township's annual salute to winter fun and frolic featured something for all ages.
During this year's offering Saturday at Perkinsfield Park, Winter Carnaval D'Hiver featured a busy program that included a performance by the Elmvale Skating Club, a free pancake lunch, community skating and a sledge-hockey demonstration.
The younger set enjoyed taking multiple rides down the tubing slide set up by Ski Snow Valley while also grabbing a stick to get involved in a makeshift road-hockey game that featured hay bales serving as boards.
Other activities included a snowy obstacle course, family skating, a snowball target challenge, vendor booths, a visit from Sparky the fire dog and displays by the OPP and local fire department.
And besides pancakes, attendees could also enjoy bannock and marshmallows by the fire, hot chocolate and maple taffy.
