In late November, the Simcoe County Local Immigration Partnership is hosting Simcoe County Employer Community Consultations, a breakfast series providing local employers an opportunity to learn how to better attract and retain immigrant talent.

Topics will include labour market trends and hiring practices, along with innovative ways to integrate internationally educated professionals into the workplace. Employers are also invited to provide recommendations for current and potential new initiatives to enhance immigrant employment opportunities across their sectors.

“This series is a great way to come together and share ideas, learnings and opportunities that will help grow and build a strong, culturally diverse and resilient workforce,” said Warden George Cornell. “As we look to enhance and grow local businesses, it’s these partnerships and collaborative opportunities that will help to broaden our perspectives and strengthen our economies.”
