Dear Editor,

I have been a cottager near Victoria Harbour for 14 years and I truly love the town of Midland.

We should all work collectively to ensure it is a fun place to work and play. It is fabulous that we can shut down the main street and have the Butter Tart Festival. We need to do more activities like that.

I understand that people would like Midland Bay Landing to only be a park, but we need some water features, food vendors, restaurants and possibly a small shopping area to bring people to this area.

Affordable housing and regular housing are great for the town but that does not have to be on the water.

We have plenty of pure nature surrounding us, but to attract people and their money we need to entertain them.
