I grew up in the area, and as a child, I loved and was amazed by the Midland Fall Fair. There was food, rides, ponies, games and contests, and much more. This event was held on the grounds near the Midland skating rink. I can't imagine why they have stopped this event. This brings people together.

With the fact that there is a lot of focus on farmers and food, this would be a great way to open the discussion to bring back this great once-a-year fall fair. Let kids see the produce that farmers grow, see the animals and talk to farmers and their families.

Someone in Midland must remember this event and could probably bring this to the mayor's attention.

The fair was always was a great time, and I loved it.
